Mingmei is a seasoned, inspiring and entertaining speaker who has given over 300 public lectures and performances. Mingmei has also done many storytellings for both children and adults at museums, bookstores, cultural societies, and private parties.

- Her novel Peach Blossom Pavilion, with readings and discussion of Chinese Geisha culture together with performance of qin music and calligraphy.
- Qin music performance with singing. The qin, the Chinese seven stringed zither, is one of the Chinese Geisha’s arts and the oldest Chinese stringed instrument
- Talk and demonstration on Chinese calligraphy.
- Other aspects of Chinese music, art and philosophy.
- Storytelling for children and adults.
